Imagine you’re an executive who writes masterfully.

And because your writing skills shine, your team does too.

You can learn to write like that.

Even if your schedule’s packed, and you’re second-guessing every third word you type.

It starts with studying the essentials: Grammar rules. Style guidelines. Storytelling devices. Time-saving processes. These are the tools you need to write with the kind of authority that inspires people.

While self-study and formal education can get you there, there’s a faster, more interesting path to writing mastery I designed specifically for busy leaders…

Executive writing coaching with Steph Spector

My name is Steph. And since 2016, I’ve been partnering with senior leaders who, once and for all, want to learn to write confidently.

In Austin, Texas, or over video, I offer coaching that equips you with writing strategies you can use immediately, in a low-pressure, conversational style. As one client put it, it’s “like learning from a best friend.”

✖️ No snoozefest lessons
✖️ No drills that remind you of that middle-school English class you hated
🪩 Yes, I talk to you like a human being
🪩 Yes, I share tools, exercises, and resources tailored to your goals
🪩 Yes, we talk about writing in fun ways (so what you’re learning sticks)

If you lead global teams, want to modernize your executive voice, or are just now stepping into a more senior role, I can show you how to write with maximum impact. Without boring you to pieces.

So, what’s my story?

I’m no MBA. I’m no award-winning journalist. I just love words! For 23 years, my curiosity has driven me to pick apart sentences, figuring out what makes them exceptional.

That curiosity opened some dream-project doors for me:

I delivered 2,250+ hours of coaching to folks at Google, the New York Times, the ASPCA, Wells Fargo, and other leading companies—one-on-one and to groups in the hundreds

I led executive writing workshops for Apple sales leaders who write for Tim Cook—with 100% of participants reporting stronger skills

I’ve edited 1.3+ million words for leaders at Apple, Grammarly, Zapier, and I Will Teach You To Be Rich, as well as executives across industries, from CEOs to Hollywood producers

I’m a faculty member at Gotham Writers Workshop, where a class I wrote, Grammar 2: Expertise and Finesse, consistently sells out and has earned 200+ five-star reviews

But of course I’m going to gas myself up. Take it from my clients:

  • “Steph has been editing digital marketing materials for me—webpages, product descriptions, emails—among other documents. After our first few projects together, I could sense we were aligned on an approach and writing style. I so trusted her detail-oriented edits that I didn’t need her to track her changes anymore.”

    —Ivy Blossom, resume coach

  • She is an exceptional editor. Her edits took the book to new heights and elevated its quality. She was very thoughtful, highly responsive, and an absolute joy to work with.

    —Shane Doyle, UX/UI designer

  • From the moment I presented my project to her, Steph educated me on what the process would be like and what I could expect—and then delivered results that far surpassed my expectations.

—Johnny Giangregorio, real estate industry leader

  • “Steph is an absolute gem. Working with her has been great. Her editing skills are top-notch. As for her writing, she has this incredible ability to understand my voice and elevate it, making everything clear and engaging.”

—Erik Larson, sales leader at IWT

  • “Steph is a talented editor who brings out the best in every project she works on. She has a unique ability to simplify complex topics, and she can easily identify continuity errors. What’s more impressive is that she accomplishes all of this with kindness.”

—Domenic LaVecchio, instructional designer at Apple

  • “Steph is a talented editor and great teammate to work alongside. She made valuable contributions to our team at Apple. She took the lead in creating an executive writing workshop for our sales leadership team, which was a major task to take on. But she did it with expertise and grace. Her editing and writing skills have helped improve the writing across our sales content. And her positive, upbeat attitude made her a joy to work with.”

    —Jontel Serrano-Moran, editor at Apple

Start writing like the boss you are.

Every year, I coach 10–12 senior leaders one-on-one, live in Austin, Texas, or over Zoom.

Here’s exactly how my coaching program unfolds:

1. We have a free consultation.

Over the phone or by video, we discuss your role, how you feel about writing, your vision for your executive voice, and any questions you have for me.

2. I review your writing.

To identify your strengths and opportunities for growth, I read 2–3 of your writing samples. Can’t freely share your work? I can sign an NDA or give you a brief writing exercise.

3. A game plan gets formed.

Based on the consult and review, I design a coaching program addressing your specific leadership goals.

4. The coaching begins.

Sound like a nice fit? Reach out with the form below to book a consultation. If you’re excited to communicate as powerfully as you lead, I’d love to support you.
